Where could AI save an improvement practitioner time?
A practical 45-minute session for people who deliver Lean Six Sigma, Process Excellence and operational improvement projects. We will work through a synthetic example, challenge where AI assistance is useful and examine how to count the effort needed to check it.
Tuesday 24 November 2026 | 12:30-13:15 GMT | 18:00-18:45 IST | Online
Free to attend. No payment details or client files required.
What attendees will get
- A worked synthetic example separating observations, assumptions and explanations that still need testing.
- A practical discussion of where AI could assist and where observation or practitioner judgement remains essential.
- An evaluation worksheet for comparing net effort, correction work and output quality on a bounded task.
Who the session is for
People currently delivering improvement work in an internal team or with clients. Banking, financial-services and manufacturing practitioners are especially relevant to the research. Other active practitioners are welcome.
What the session includes
A brief framing of the question, an example using synthetic process evidence, practitioner critique, a worksheet for evaluating assistance, and time for discussion.
Leanify will be shown as one approach to examine.
The tooling supports the assessment. It does not autonomously validate root causes, approve recommendations or replace practitioner judgement.
Your host
Tony Walker works across process improvement, automation and operational transformation. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is leading the development of Leanify, an AI-assisted improvement tool.
Research disclosure
This session informs Leanify's development. Practitioner pain and productivity benefits are still being tested. Illustrations use synthetic material; no measured practitioner time-saving claim is made.
Common questions
- Is this a product demonstration?
- Leanify appears in the worked example. The session also provides a checklist attendees can use with other tools, with time to question the approach.
- Do I need to prepare anything?
- Think of one recent improvement project and the part that took the most effort. Do not bring confidential client or employer material.
- Will there be a recording?
- Yes. The whole session, including questions and discussion, is recorded, and the recording is shared with registrants afterwards.
